Tailored Glory Consulting Group has a rigorous training program that is approved by the Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE) and is designed to be completed through a virtual/on-demand format, structured to build the coaching skills, knowledge and competencies needed for professional coaches working with individuals, businesses and organizations, by emphasizing (1) coaching knowledge and applications, (2) ethics and regulatory guidelines, (3) practice management, and (4) potential assessments.
Each course requires at least 30 hours of virtual and on demand learning to complete and will include weekly assigned reading, course assignments, experiential and observational learning, peer discussion, and coaching role play, and practice test questions.
Our training program consists of comprehensive modules that cover the key areas required for CCE certification. Here's an overview of our core modules
which focus on the four BCC core competencies for professional coaches:
A. Introduction to Coaching: Explore the fundamentals of coaching, including core coaching principles, BCC Code Ethics, and building client relationships. Learn the difference between coaching, counseling, mentoring, and consulting.
You will gain a solid foundation in coaching theory and practice.
B. Ethics and regulatory guidelines
You will learn to interpret the BCC Code of Ethics, so you can be confident that you will run an ethical coaching practice. You will also learn to analyze common issues in coaching and customize your coaching form templates to follow the BCC Code of Ethics.
C. Coaching knowledge and applications
Learn a variety of coaching models and techniques, such as the GROW model, appreciative inquiry, strengths-based coaching, and more. You will be reminded of cultural dynamics and diversity in coaching and deepen your understanding of how to adapt your coaching approach to effectively work with clients from different cultural backgrounds. Become a master at the art of helping clients set meaningful goals, develop action plans, and stay accountable to their objectives. We will discuss coach characteristics and the types of powerful questions that are used in coaching sessions.
D. Assessment
In this module, you’ll go over several different personality assessments coaches can use with their clients. You will discuss the four stages of competence, along with the Johari Window and review how to assess your clients' motivation, by using Prochaska and Diclemente's Stages of Change model, with the corresponding techniques to help clients in each stage You will assess what to do if your client lacks or loses motivation. Finally, you will discuss other motivational factors and considerations regarding assessments.
E. Practice Management
In this module, you will explore what it means to have a thriving coaching practice. Items such as integrating theories, use of research, corresponding with clients, collaborating with other coaches, mentoring, supervision and providing referrals will be covered. In addition, we will review essential skills for building a successful coaching practice, including marketing, branding, client acquisition, and ethical business practices. You will self-evaluate your strengths and areas for growth. You will experiment with a practice exam. Finally, we will break down the step-by-step process for obtaining your BCC credential.
Tailored Glory Consulting Group's coach training program is designed for applicants who hold a qualifying educational degree and are seeking to fulfill requirements for the Board Certified Coach (BCC) credential through the Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE). Students should have reliable internet access to complete this course. Learning is developed through assigned readings, on-demand discussions and online discussion forums, short video training assignments, coach training activities and reflection posts. The total estimated time commitment per course is 5-10 hours per week. Students must score 80% or better on final exam in order to successfully pass each course.
Successful completion of 30, 60 or 120 hours of training will allow qualified individuals to pursue Board Certified Coach credential (BCC).
